Last week, the YoWo team took part in the transnational meeting in Copenhagen as part of the KA2 Strategic Partnership “PEPAR”. Together with our partners from CEFIG International from the Czech Republic, Soholm 4H from Denmark and from Las Ninas del Tul from Spain, we met to test the games we have been working on over the past months. We prototyped six games on youth participation in society: one board game, one online game and four “little card games”.
During three very intense days, we were able to test all prototypes, plan the next steps, try delicious buns and play countless games. Michał from YoWo Poland shared with us his impressions from the meeting:
What is Copenhagen famous for? You’ve probably heard about colorful houses, rain or lack of sun. My memories are also connected to taste of cheesecake, kannenbulars or curry paste with fish. I know, crazy connections, but that’s how this world is. And our little worlds met in Denmark.
Board games totally connected us. Classic, where we laugh and play, and educational, where there is twice as much fun. From where? From the fact that we create them!
During the weekend, we tested our games, and smiles did not leave our faces. We have also tried our card games based on storytelling and collaboration. It’s good to meet in a Polish-Czech-Spanish-Danish team. It may sound unusual (like fries with ice cream), but it’s worth trying. After all, you don’t know if you have luck until you roll the dice.
In front of us is a continuation of work on the development of our prototypes, as well as a youth exchange in Spain in March, during which we will conduct the final testing of our games! Wanna join us? Application process coming soon in January 2022!
