From May 2nd to May 9th, the second stage of the “The Queer Youth Space” 🌈❤️ Erasmus+ project took place near Brno, Czech Republic. The participants met again after two months apart. The first stage of the project in Georgia allowed friendships to be formed, which had the chance to blossom in the Czech Republic. The project provided a lot of experiences, such as optional cave tours, which turned out to be more challenging than expected😳
Check out what Ola, our YoWo participant, is saying about this experience:
During the exchange, we visited three schools in groups to conduct workshops. The children at the democratic school warmly welcomed us and eagerly participated in the activities. Experiencing these different teaching methods firsthand was incredibly intriguing, and I am glad I had the chance to visit that school. Other groups visited a Montessori school and the University of Brno. During the university visit, participants met members of a queer student organization that works for LGBT+ people in Brno. For the rest of the project, participants learned from each other, shared experiences, and prepared plans for future youth exchanges and training courses that might take place in the future 😉.
