Why is it worth participating?
„Youth of the 21st Century“ is a local initiative with nationwide publicity dedicated to the mental health of young people. After the success of the first edition in 2024, we are back with even more knowledge, practical workshops, and inspiration. Together, we are looking for answers to the following questions:
How to support young people in coping with pressure?
How to build mental resilience?
How to create a safe environment for young people to develop?
How does social participation empower young people and their sense of agency?

The project aims to:
- Educate about youth mental health, with an emphasis on coping with stress and pressure.
- Strengthen social support through the organization of workshops, meetings, and conferences.
- Raise awareness about mental health in schools and among local communities.
About project
Youth of the 21st Century (Nastolatkowie XXI wieku) is a unique initiative aimed at supporting the mental health of young people in Poland.
The project, created by Julia Wasilewska and Gabriel Popławski, has received funding from the European Solidarity Corps and is being implemented by YoWo Poland.
Through this project, we strive to raise public awarness about the mental health challenges faced by young people and to support their emotional development. Modern times present many difficult challenges, which is why the project focuses on strengthening mental resilience and providing tools to cope with everyday difficulties – all within both a social and personal context.
The second edition offers even more knowledge, inspiration and activities for young people.

The initiative is implemented by the YoWo Poland in cooperation with local organizations and educational institutions from Biała Podlaska. The projects “Youth of the 21st Century” and “Youth of the 21st Century Plus” are funded by the European Solidarity Corps program.
