About project
Youth of the 21st Century (Nastolatkowie XXI wieku) is a unique initiative aimed at supporting the mental health of young people in Poland. The project, created by Julia Wasilewska and Gabriel Popławski, has received funding from the European Solidarity Corps and is being implemented by YoWo Poland.
Through this project, we strive to raise public awarness about the mental health challenges faced by young people and to support their emotional development. Modern times present many difficult challenges, which is why the project focuses on strengthening mental resilience and providing tools to cope with everyday difficulties – all within both a social and personal context.
The project aims to:
- Educate about youth mental health, with an emphasis on coping with stress and pressure.
- Strengthen social support through the organization of workshops, meetings, and conferences.
- Raise awareness about mental health in schools and among local communities.
Partners
The project is being implemented by YoWo Poland in cooperation with local organizations and educational institutions from Biała Podlaska.
Our goal is to create a safe space where young people can openly discuss their problems and learn how to take care of their mental health.
The project has received the honorary patronage of the Mayor of Biała Podlaska.
